Friendly, including very dog friendly. Room was well thought out and comfortable. In addition to a desk etc. there was a brilliant quiet ceiling fan, a fridge and even a safe. Set in the centre of Genk the double glazing worked well although after 11 (Friday night) the whole place seemed wonderfully quiet. (There was also a beautiful Audubon picture of a blue heron - one of my favourites!) The bathroom was well fitted out including twin basins and a large mirror with lighting. The shower was in the bath but was very good with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Restaurant downstairs (although I didn’t try). Finally parking on the road - with helpful advice I obtained a ticket which was free, covering me from 6pm until 10am, including 1 hour free (9-10am). If you arrive early you might have to pay (€1) for an hour, depends when you leave.
Extremely minor things - the switches for lights, including the bathroom, were by the entrance. It took a little while to locate the sockets (under the bedside tables).

The ladies running the place are very nice and provided us with an exceptional breakfast. We also had dinner at their restaurant as it seemed to be the best option.
The views of our room and the steep stairs to the 2nd floor. The bathroom is a bit tight although the facilities are nice.

Central location. Easy to find. No early check in available and had to come back at 3pm. ( i know thats the check in time but surely not every room is unavailable until 3pm!)...Room is sufficient and facilities in room are ok. Bed is a bit thin and not very firm.Breakfast was great. Big selection and fresh food, fruit,bread etc.
No earlier check in. There must be available rooms at 1pm? Shower basin fills up pretty quickly and high, near to flooding. Shower head could do with a mould clean.
