I have stayed in Barry’s hotel a few times pre covid, last week I stayed for a couple of days. THe hotel has been updated and prices have risen to reflect this. I especially like the location, being in central Brussels and within walking distance to everywhere central. THe single room was small also a very small bed , fortunately no problem for me. Good staff communication. THe chap I dealt with on reception was very friendly and very helpful.
Everything was fine. Although the room was small, everything was clean and comfortable. The fan was a bit too noisy to leave on while sleeping.

Very good value for money in general. Nice people. Clean. Comfortable beds. Great location.
If anything: No a/c though the room was rather warm as it's hit by the afternoon sun; got much better in the evening. Breakfast could have had more choice, but was okay for the price.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is also very close to the city centre, making it easy to explore Brussels on foot.
The room did not have air conditioning or a refrigerator, which made the stay less comfortable, especially during warm weather. Also, housekeeping only cleaned our room once during our five-night stay.
