We were allowed early access. Comfy beds, excellent location for Eurostar station. Staff helpful. The hotel is much better than a lot of the negative reviews. A bit of maintenance in the bathroom but on the whole a decent stay. The complaints about the rubbish in the neighbourhood can be said for brussels which is a dirty city.
The bars nearby were loud until late.
Brussels is not somewhere I will visit again. Go to Bruges or Gent cleaner and more relaxed.

It was really clean and the staff were helpful at check in, the towels were changed daily which helped too
The hot water for a shower was only available the first day and the rest of the time the water ran cold. The area is a little unsavoury and could feel uncomfortable for people.
