Nestled in Merrijig, this lovely house for $373 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Minimum stay: 2 nights Check in 3pm Check out 10am Newly reopened to take bookings following some renovations and updates, situated in the tranquil Sawmill Settlement and only 3 km from the Mt Buller Resort Entry Gates, this accommodation is nestled in a quiet court, with the High Country on it's doorstep. - Close to Mt Buller to enjoy day trips to the snowfields with ski, snowboard and snow suit 20% discount available when hiring equipment from Black Mountain Ski hire in the Mt Buller village. - The house is also only 25 minutes from Mansfield to enjoy what the township offers. - Lake Eildon is 1/2 hr drive away for water sports. - Enjoy motor bike or mountain bike riding in the high country or simply relax- and enjoy the fishing across the road in the Delatite River. - There are walking trails close by and a less challenging walk to a local waterfall. - Drive to the top of Mt Buller for some more challenging walking or riding trails outside snow season. This single level, 4 bedroom cottage is set up to accommodate more than one family at a time. The house has split system heating/cooling, Coonara wood heating, separate purpose-built drying room, bbq facilities, carport and plenty of parking space. Television is satellite TV or there is a library of DVD's available for your use. If TV doesn't interest you, perhaps an evening of board games does. The benefit of being in a court means you can enjoy a game of street cricket! The main bathroom configuration works well with the bathroom sink, shower and toilet each enclosed in their own area within the one room. The second bathroom is an en-suite. No pets during Winter season (June- October 2nd) as they would need to be locked inside the house, unattended while their family is at Mt Buller during the day. Happy to discuss individual needs. The Telstra tower is close by so Mobile internet works for Telstra and Optus mobiles. No internet is connected at the house. Linen and towels are supplied. Hand sanitizer is provided in the kitchen and bathrooms. Due to Covid 19, all surfaces, including high-touch surfaces (eg door handles, remote controls etc) are sanitized as part of the cleaning process and carpets and couches are sprayed with disinfectant. We stayed at this lovely cosy home for a family snow weekend away with two families, 4 adults and 6 kids. The home was perfect. Location was excellent, only minutes away from check in up the mountain. Located in a quiet lovely court, we loved sharing the property with the local Kookaburras and wildlife. Even skippy shared us a visit :) The home had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Kitchen was well stocked, lots of board games, darts, books to keep everyone entertained. The dry room was awesome and we used the 20% discount at the ski hire outlet at Mt Buller Village. Communication with the owner was also great, thank you. Would definitely return.

Very generous and effective dry room, especially for snow equipment. Since there are 4 bedrooms which can fit in a max of 12 ppl, it would be great if there is one more toilet in the property. If you require ski hire, they have 20% discount vouchers for Black Mountain Ski Hire, located in the Mt Buller village and this is definitely a bonus point for ppl who want to organise a snow trip. The owner should advertise this as a selling point in the description of the property:)

This is a fabulous cosy little place that works perfectly for a group going skiing. It has everything you need and lots of room for family and friends to stay. The drying room is absolutely brilliant - worked a treat! Tania was a super host. Would highly recommend!

Accomodation was well stocked with all the little things you always forget. Great kitchen supplies meant we could eat how we normally cook as a family. Cabin was room so with 10 people in it you didn’t feel like you were on top of each other. Just a really good and homey place. We will book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. The host Tania was so accommodating and responded to all queries so quickly & went that extra mile to provide local info etc. The house was great - clean, warm, homely, had everything we needed & was so convenient to access Buller. We felt really at home and the local area was so pretty to walk around. I’d highly recommend this property to families - we will defs be back

The property was perfect for our family getaway to the snow. The house was beautifully presented and clean throughout. Everything you need is there and the drying room was spacious and left us with perfectly dry gear each morning. I would highly recommend this property.
