The property location was ideal for us, being only 20mins from the closest town and 20mins from the top of Mt Buller where we spent the majority of our holiday. It comfortably housed 11 people with leftover space, and felt like a luxurious mountain lodge. There were a variety of facilities to be used whilst we stayed including 2 bathrooms, a spa bath, a BBQ and deck area, a fireplace, 2 kitchens and 2 lounge room areas. The owner was also accomodating to early check in requests.
The beds were not overly comfortable, and the house wasn’t as clean as expected considering there are 6 hours between check out and checking in. There wasn’t enough firewood left out for our stay by the cleaner (however the owner was very accommodating regarding this), and it was evident that the cleaners don’t move furniture to clean underneath or remove of cobwebs.

The size of the house is fantastic. We took three families and it’s a great space for us all. The lounge room with fireplace is really cozy. Kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Nice big dining table. Great design of the two houses in one. And so close to the mountain - great location
It’s a little run down and needs a good cleaning. Yes, beds, floors, bathrooms are clean but it just seems really dusty. Curtains are broken, dirty and dusty, blinds are dusty, cobwebs everywhere. Multiple doorknobs need fixing, laundry tap dripping, dishwasher doesn’t clean properly. Needs a good spring clean and some maintenance.
