A charming hotel close to a beautiful beach but in need of renovation to bring back to 5 star status.

Beautiful views over Patong Beach and positioned away from the noise of Patong. The rooms we booked was spacious and charming.

The hotel provides excellent security staff to try to stop the traffic so you can cross the road to the beach and restaurants but it is not for the feint-hearted. The hotel has a slightly neglected feel probably a result of the pandemic.

Parfait

Le petit déjeuner était très qualitatif. Beaucoup de choix. La piscine avec la vue sur la mer est magnifique. Le personnel est souriant et accueillant. Possibilité de prendre des verres autour de la piscines. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Nous avions une chambre avec un balcon vue sur mer. Très propre.

Les prix des restaurants de l’hôtel un peu chers. Sinon tout était parfait

relaxing and a perfect stay

relaxed, tranquil, well spaced out accommodation and outside areas, great prices on food and drinks, shuttle service was constant and reliable. nothing too much trouble. Spa experience was exceptional.

nothing to dislike. we were aware of how many steps to negotiate so this did not come as any surprise.

Good and peaceful stay

Nicely maintained premises, good sized rooms. Staff really helpful.

Restaurant prices are a little costly and food was missing flavour. There was some maintenance construction going on by the pool making noise during the days.

A very enjoyable stay

There were many beautiful greenery in the surroundings which made the environment very relaxing for a vacation. Walking to Patong shopping centre took 15 minutes was acceptable. The reception and housekeeping staff were very polite and helpful.

The provision of free morning stretching or yoga classes was good. However, the class no. limited to 4 persons only was a bit too small.

Cleanliness might need more efforts, yet location was excellent, staff were great, and all our requests were attended to

Location was excellent, resort facilities were many, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! We got a complementary fruit basket and the suite was spacious. A very big thanks goes to “Njoy” from the activities desk, who went above and beyond.

Cleanliness isn’t a big yes honestly, though our requests were never denied, but still.. even the suite needed more cleaning and care.

Disappointed with the response from requests to fix problems

Spacious sea view suite room. Pool area nice.

Location on a steep hill with hundreds of steps , Response from reception for problems like no umberella in the room on arrival and no umberellas available despite torrential rain confining me to the room and being advised to got to a 7-11 and buy myself a rain coat , on my wifes arrival 1 day after my checking in it took 3 phone calls and a visit to our room by a staff member as we tried to get her suitcase delivered to the room. After 2.5 hrs waiting I went to reception and fetched it myself. On 2 occasions we did not get our room cleaned or amenities refreshed despite several phone calls and being informed the cleaners are on theyre way. Breakfast cooked food not hot enough. Would not return or reccomend this property.

the location, the cleanliness of the room and how spacious it is

the breakfast was ok, but the area is very small for a buffet , and there is no much variety. my daughter was encountered by a snake in the village which scared her a lot the rooms are up the hill there is a lot of walking, but they provide a shuttle bus service which was convenient

Highly recommended!

The staff here were so nice and helpful, particularly the Japanese assistant manager who helped us locate a phone on an airplane. The breakfast staff were so polite and hardworking. The pool was very well managed and our room was spotlessly clean everyday. The building is a lot more impressive in person. I really liked the staff they were the best part of this hotel. Made everything so effortless and comfortable.

My only complaint would be the food at the restaurant at night. It is mediocre, and the fans on the ceiling with the lights can made you feel dizzy.

Poor customer service .

It was clean, comfortable and nice location for us.

Hotel staff was not supportive as we expected a bit more...we have booked for 30th june and 01st july, 2023, 01 sea view delux room and we have already stayed one day but due to sudden expiration of my mother in law at our home country, we had to move back after one day and requested them (lobby) for cancellation of another day for refund but they simply refused..we have also booked from hotel lobby for James bond sunset activities on the same day but due to above same reason we had to also cancel it but this time, they also refused it for refund...need to be more customer focused..won't stay anymore in coming days.

You can't go wrong with Diamond Cliff. If it falls within your budget, go for it.

Everything about my experience at Diamond Cliff was phenomenal. The cleanliness, the staff, the location, the food, the room... I just wish I could have stayed there longer.

My only complaint is that the service at the bars and restaurants was a bit slow. However, I soon realized that slow service seems to be a staple of Phuket in general, so I can't really hold this against them.

Pool is nice, that’s the only thing I liked but you get good pool everywhere in Phuket.

Our favorite resort of the trip!

This property was gorgeous!! The staff was amazing and the breakfast buffet was so tasty! I’m vegan, and they were so accommodating with making me separate food for breakfast.

Laundry was a little expensive.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed with my experience. The room was clean and cozy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome and were always available to answer any questions I had. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfasts. They were delicious and offered a great variety of options to choose from. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The combination of a clean and cozy room, friendly and attentive staff, and delicious breakfasts made for an unforgettable experience. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Wonderful relaxing spa break in quiet end of Patong Beach.

We had a deluxe sea view room which was really spacious and very clean. The resort is built up the side of a hill so it is not ideal for people with mobility issues although the hotel do provide transport around the resort in golf buggy type vehicles which is really helpful. Choice of food at breakfast was really good and always nicely cooked.

Best place I ever been!

it was amazing since the check in until the moment that we left,the suite was spacious and beautiful, the breakfast was amazing with a lot of choices. We tried the food at the Japanese restaurant, the room service and the food at the pool area and everything was soo good, I enjoyed every meal and the price are so competitive. I would come back for sure next year,this is a 5 star place and the staff is amazing I never meet so many kind,helpful and lovely people.

Very relaxing stay above Patong Beach

The rooms are large with very comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is great.

Sometimes the staff had a difficult time to understand and speak proper English. For example we asked if they could order us someone to bring us to freedom beach. The employee said it is only possible by boat and they have no cooperation. Afterwards we asked a random TukTuk driver and he brought us there without a boat (just a short walk). I couldn't pay with my Mastercard without a PIN (the card has no PIN - only signature needed) because the staff didn't know how to proceed here. This should be standard in a 5 star hotel.

location, service, facilities and all around resort feel were all fantastic. food was always amazing too but being so close to patong you can always go out. 10/10 would stay again

so…many….stairs haha they have a shuttle to take you up the hill but it is called Diamond “Cliff” for a reason
