The villa was spacious and the mountain view was nice. The quality of the food was decent and the staff was nice.
Oh so many things didn’t live up to a 5 star resort standard… the whole villa was worn down and has not been maintained. There were a lot of stains on the pillows in the sofa and outside in the pavillon. The shower smelled like sewage when we showered and so did the firefly pool. The room was dark and damp. We simply didn’t feel comfortable being in the villa and went out of it as much as we could, which is a shame since we paid good money for it. It was probably the most disappointing hotel experience ever.
