The setting was breathtaking and the staff were always helpful. Our room and private outdoor verandahs were very spacious with the added treat of being able to leave doors and windows open to sleep with the cool evening air. Dinner at Fanari which was recommended and booked by the staff was truly memorable with the most spectacular sun set.
I think the only thing you need to be aware of is that there were alot of stairs to travel
navigate to access the property. It wasn’t an issue for us and the hotel does organise for your bags to be transferred to and from your room.

Oia Mare Villas is set in a spectacular location overseeing the Aegean Sea with a brilliant view of the setting sun! The villas are spacious, clean, and comfortable. There's a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, a kettle, tea bags, instant coffee packets, crockery and cutlery. The bathroom was clean and spacious, with toiletries provided. Our villa was air-conditioned to counter the heat. All in all, we had a very relaxing stay.
Climbing the steps to get to the main street level was a test for the knee and ankle joints! We had to be extra careful on the cobblestones to avoid slipping. Fortunately, the Oia Mare Villas provides porters to cart your luggage to the street level.
