Exceptional

The place is nice and the rooms are spacious . Good size bathroom .the area is very relaxing and quite. Nice place in a beautiful village.

Kalavasos is lovely the apartment is to be avoided, don't believe anything you read in their blerb.

Comfortable bed. Village is nice.

The facilities offered did not materialise. Hot water rarely worked, when it did there was enough for one quick shower then went cold. Kitchen facilities were bad, had to buy a frying pan and other essentials just to prepare a basic meal. Fridge broken. The apartment had no natural light except through the glass in the door. Parking was supposed to be on site, it wasn't. We were told we could park in the road outside, we did and this caused big problems with neighbours and our car was vandalised. There is no TV, no washing facilities. The apartment we booked was not the one we stayed in. The company has several properties and it is pot luck were you are put. Marissa, who I presume owns the properties appears helpful but actually was the opposite, although we were offered a different apartment we declined because we felt it would be no improvement. Don't trust what you see in the pictures and in the description

Tranquil village setting, well maintained apartments with excellent support communications.

One of a large number of properties operated by the same owner, our room in a converted period property was ideal for our stay. Kalavasos is a picturesque village with many old buildings. It only has a couple of restaurants and shops but is situated in a good area for walking and relaxing. The room was large, with original stone arch, separate kitchen and terrace.

As our room was part of a small complex of converted apartments, you may find noise coming from other residents. We were not provided with a TV but didn't miss it.

Our stay to Kalavasos.

Cozy, affordable and traditional place near the village square.

There were many ants in the house. We couldn't find the switch for outdoor lights. Water kettle wasn't clean and ready for use.

Great community village feel

the property was old styled and traditional. It consisted of appropriate kitchen stuff, there was no microwave but that was not an issue. the swimming pool as advertised is a few mins away, you get to walk enjoy walking the alleyways to get there. the village come to life at night and people were very friendly.

A TV could be a great add on especially for kids at night. I have a phobia of cats and this is not an issue for most, but there were cats constantly in the garden area so I couldn’t enjoy sitting out wating a meal in that beautiful setting. parking is a bit far as the village is closed off at night for restaurants outdoor eating and during day time it is only local cars that can park up the roads and not rentals. like a mentionned having a phobia of cats, getting to the house at night was hard for me as some of the cats wants to be friendly and get close.

The apartment was comfortable. But some of the fixtures were looking tired. Some of the plugs for the electrical equipment were European and the wall sockets were UK.

Very good

The village is beautiful and friendly. Tavernas, people. The bed was very comfortable, and the little garden is lovely.

We got another apartman, but the owner changed for us larger. Didn't work the wifi.

Very enjoyable & comfortable with a nice courtyard for sunshine

Location was good, had previously stayed in Kalavasos in early 2000's. More eating out options this time and village very pretty with flowers.

Found cooking pots etc a little worn & would have found a microwave very useful. Although we both love cats & made some friends, some of the visitors were a little persistent & we hope that the programme of neutering (ear clip)continues & hopefully some people in the village will ensure they are fed. Particularly a little dark tabby who looked like she had kittens on the way and was very hungry.

Nice place and architecture, bad maintenance, photos not corresponding

Very nice romantic old style appartment, i love that stone house architecture. It is renovated with care and style, but needs more maintenance.

The instructions to check-in could have been written, not on phone (as it was in our case and the next day with our disappointed neighbors). We booked and paied two bedroom appartment, there was only one bedroom with upper "floor" with another bed - extremelly uncomfortable if you want privacy of have small children. The owner told me he will check other options they have but did not reply till the end of the stay (We stayed for 4 nights!). The wifi was not working at all. But the worst - the photos are just a mix of the best from all the accomodation they have in those villages (We stayed in appartment called Takis). Overally - Very nic accomodation that is not maintained and cleaned properly. Perfect location but I would not book again because of the unpredictability of what you will get (photos from other rooms).

VERY DISSAPPOINING

Lovely location

Pictures on booking.com do not represent the property at all .. definitely needs updated pics.. Place had not been cleaned - was very dirty (very concerned due to covid)!!!!!! No cleaning things like brush etc… to sweep up!! Or cleaning fluids… The courtyard we couldn’t sit in due to the smell of cat 🐈 urine and poo 💩 Table in courtyard very tatty - covered with bird poo.. bathroom - no shower head and very tired looking. overall a very disappointing visit… would not return. Some NOT so friendly locals!! Asked to move car, which we did immediately.. (not parked illegally) had a phone call that day from car hire company!!! The man had actually reported us !! Light fittings handing off the wall, fridge plugged in with just wires!! Too many things to mention 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Disappointing

I liked the quietness of the place, the cleanliness and the friendliness of the owner.

In my opinion the facility needs renovation, during my stay, there was a thunderstorm at night and suddenly it started raining inside everywhere. In contrast to the reviews I read and which made me choose the facility, I cannot say that I stayed in an exceptional place.

Decent location traditional Cyprus village

Interior large, old, and traditional design of the apartment. Position very close to village center.

Soundproof isolation, hearing almost everything from the apartment at the upper level. Not that we wanted it, but the swiming pool is actually in a different location.

Highly recommended

This place is so lovely! We’re lucky to decided to stay in this authentic village. The apartment overexcited our expectations. Great decoration, cleanliness, comfortable bed, well staffed kitchen and amazing balcony - it’s all about this place.

Few little niggles but overall great location.

Lovely traditional Cypriot village and so tranquil, just what you need to relax and chill out.

It quoted a tv and instructions how to use it, when we arrived, there also couldve been a kettle and toaster.

A perfect short relaxing village break

Due to a 'misunderstanding' with our booking we were offered a free room upgrade at a different location in Tochni Village. Instead of a 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in 2 adjoining 1 bedroom apartments close to the pool, which suited our needs. The apartments were clean, comfortable, with large rooms and king beds. The complex combines traditional village life with modern comfort and amenities. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Good Wifi in all areas, and friendly helpful staff.

There was a slight delay on arrival while we sorted out the booking and changed locations..

- good location - nice people in the village - nice village - good rooms and kitchen and balkony (Local feeling)

- Too much and big cockroach! - Nobody wait us when we arrived (from the local grocery called the owner for us) - Not changed dustbin and no cleaning as we stayed there (5 days) and no new shower gel when it was depleted so I was lucky because I packed it. - the tap was worked very hard - the lamp was vibrated in the bathroom and the light was weak
