Such a beautiful cute little motel / pub accommodation. Rooms were clean, unique and comfortable. The food is divine, we ate here every day. Cute little area to go for some country strolls.
Our shower was a bit difficult to use. Staff were a bit funny about us taking food we ordered and paid for in the restaurant to our room.

Beautiful comfortable room with decent bathroom and storage space
Dinner was great (although very salty)
Very small pub tables for 4 people
For dinner (plus a dog) we were told beforehand we could eat in the restaurant
If we had sat at a table without full chairs it would have been very uncomfortable on small bar stools to eat

Beautiful hotel
The breakfast was disappointing- hard poached eggs, small servings. Pillows were too soft. Noisy street front which was a shame.

The location was lovely, quiet, close to Dorking and surrounding areas with Box Hill a stones throw away. Our room (Ascot) room was spacious with a comfortable bed and lovely roll top bath. Shower was amazing too !
The lack of information when first arriving. The incorrect information provided in the room. The non existent communication with staff on checking in.
We arrived and were quickly shown to our room but given no information. No details on evening meal options or breakfast timing etc. In the morning we wanted a cuppa but there was no milk. The welcome leaflet in the room provided the answer - contact the hotel to get fresh milk. We awoke early so this information would have been better relayed the night before !! We contacted the number provided (calls/text/watts app) no reply and there was no one about to help with this or to provide a time for breakfast - we left it 45 mins and decided to leave having not had a cuppa or breakfast ..
About 2 hours later I received a reply from the number I’d messaged saying that they had left the hotels employment last December and their number had been printed in error !!! Think this needs to be addressed as not too good and thank god there was no emergency and our query was only about milk !!
