Really lovely property, beautiful grounds and lots to do.
The rooms aren’t that private, there’s a sitting area outside but it’s very close to other rooms and people walk past.

Beautiful grounds and facilities, friendly staff, well decorated.
Very bright green fire light in room. Struggled to sleep with it. Will have to remember an eye mask next time

Lovely decor, beautiful surroundings with some nice countryside walks, nice staff and lovely yoga teacher, excellent gym facilities but a bit disappointed for having to pay extra for the classes... the quality of the food was excellent howewer with the main restaurant being closed during the week (which is not clear enough on the website) the selection was limited. Free tea, coffee and treats in the room was a nice touch.
As above, the main restautant was closed and not cleary communicated on the website that it's closed during the week - it just has to "small print" opening hours and something you would not expect for a hotel to close their restaurant during the week in the middle of August - I was told because of low occupancy. The pub is open and serves lovely food but limited selection/ Was surprised there was no aircon in the rooms despite recent renovation, and no booking system to book treatments - all done via whatsapp which is not teh most efficient (although they do reccomend to book treatments with enough time in advance). The bar next to the lake was also closed.
