Comfortable, country-house atmosphere (on a quiet mid-week stay). Pleasant public spaces and outdoor facilities. Friendly staff, and attentive service at a nice dinner. Good breakfast included.
Mattress could have been a bit softer!

The hotel sits in its own grounds giving the opportunity for a garden stroll. The room was spacious and clean with a large bathroom. Best of all the food in the restaurant was delicious especially the monkfish tail and red Thai risotto at dinner, and the full English at breakfast.
The hotel is situated within a mile or so of the M40. This makes it very convenient and easy to get to, and although there was some traffic noise it was no more than a background hum only really noticeable when sitting outside.

Everything was lovely, immaculately clean, rooms very spacious. The ladies at the desk were extremely helpful and able to accommodate our family last minute request. Also stayed in the stables and rooms were beautiful
