The hotel was very well kept and everything seemed clean and very tidy although it was continuously refreshed. Well done to the groundsmen too as was a very nicely kept grounds
When arrived, 2 x receptionists were quite rude, they didn't acknowledge us standing at the counter as were busy having a chat. Eventually one answered us but left halfway through checking us in. That girl was very friendly and almost embarressed. Dinner service was good although we were chased after we left our table ti sit in the very small lounge just outside the door, then ordered to pay our bill there and then as "they needed to close the table down" this leads me to the lack of lounge area, as there was a wedding on one of the bars in the old house was closed leaving a small 10 - 15 seat area only available for a fully booked hotel. the Harrys bar and kitchen was a restaurant with a few stools at the bar and quite formal. not really what we were looking for.
