Visited for a family wedding, the hotel is undergoing renovations which were communicated well to us prior to arriving. The setting is quite nice on the banks of the river. We stopped in the South Lodge part of the hotel, room was dated but clean, facilities were adequate for one night. Bed was comfy. Breakfast the next morning was good and the conservatory views were great in the morning. Service was good and staff were very helpful.
Value for money, rooms could do with a bit of a makeover.

The location with views of the River Teign is very attractive. Good sized room with space in the bathroom to hang all the towels
Hot drinks from a machine are a sign of the times we live in but we still prefer to have tea served in a teapot for breakfast!

Location very good . The room was a good size. They provided tea and coffee in he room. The new style lobby is very nice. Now do the lodges!
South Lodge very dated . Needs updating desperately . Curtains dirty. Still has unhygienic shower curtain. Bathroom needs updating . Tv is old and doesn’t work properly. No other hotels in area.
