I’ve stopped here many times before travelling abroad for work. The hotel is excellent and has everything you need, including facilities for charging cars. It’s a large place, but the food is good, and the service is always excellent.

Great location, nice breakfast, staff friendly.
Needs modernising (old bathroom with old bath to step up into and glass screen to take a shower, hand hose not working), having to pay extra for swim/sauna when already costly. Nightly costs have risen by a lot since last year already.

The room, the staff were great and the restaurant options
The parking charges are absolutely horrendous, £24 for 24 hours is absolutely ridiculous, that really needs to get sorted asap! Plus to make matters worse, you can never ever find parking even though the staff say there is an overflow carpark it's always stupidly full.

The staff were welcoming on arrival and the water and sweets in the lobby were appreciated.
The room felt tired. The bath didn’t drain properly so you were showering standing in a bath full of water and the towels were like rags.
