The staff were polite and hospitable, the location was close to Chester and the overall facilities were good.
The plug in the jacuzzi bathroom was broken, other than this the stay was perfect.

Location was great for what we needed. The room was very comfortable with a great outlook of lovely gardens. Homemade cookies every morning. The added details such as hot chocolate, filtered water, toothbrush and toothpaste were thoughtful.
There was nothing not to like

Friendly staff, space for larger functions, choice of different style accommodation rooms and facilities, ample close parking. Some entertainment for guests, games room, table tennis, darts, books, bar, ample rooms for groups to sit and chat privately. Clean rooms and linen.
This is an old adapted stately home in need of some repair and refurbishment.

The size of the room was good.
Not a very inviting smell when you walk in. Smelt old and damp.
Beds were really uncomfy and i itched all night with a few bites. Room was right by bottle bank,, there was a wedding on the firat night which we disnt mind the noise but every bottle collected from the party was thrown into the bottle bank outside the window which was annoying.
Wouldnt go again or recomend.
