Easy to find, great location for the NEC, comfy bed and air conditioned rooms. The faculties were good (restaurants and gym/pool).
Bathroom was small, door hanger in bathroom had come off leaving a hole in the door, the parking was expensive and there were large groups of guests attending an event all smoking right outside the entrance which was disgusting having to walk through when entering or leaving the hotel despite clear no smoking signs.

Was a convenient location for a work trip
Building work going on meant pool and sauna were out of action.
Some members of bar staff extremely rude and disinterested.

Proximity to NEC
Dated bathrooms, cafeteria style breakfast tables are not even set up with cutlery. Noise and smokers, there was some big function on all the entrance and exits, had 20/30 people hanging around smoking. You should have to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke every time you want to enter or leave the hotel. Spa was shut despite it say it would be open when I booked.
