Comfortable hotel in an excellent location

Breakfast was exceptional value for money. Location was easy for walking the city, esplanade & transfers to Fitzroy Island. Staff are lovely and friendly. View from Deluxe King Balcony Room is amazing. Spacious room and comfy bed.

No room service available. There is a little traffic noise, but this comes with the central location.

If you are looking to stay in good location with a good view but can ignore housekeeping and general facilities then it’

Location is really good. Just a short walk to esplanade and 2 min walk to marlin marina. View from my view was also splendid.

Housekeeping is once is 3 days. This is worst because by 3 days room becomes so dirty. There was no exhaust in the room. So when I switched off the AC entire room was filled with mist and all surfaces were wet. Even basic facilities like shower cap,dental kit,vanity kit, moisturiser are not provided. I requested them to arrange a dental kit as I always get it in all stays but they asked me to buy it. They stopped procuring it altogether. This is so lame as they are taking so much money but can’t even provide basic facilities.

Overall great stay with excellent staff.

Clean and close to everything.

Probably a little overpriced for an executive suite with no view and air conditioner is very noisy.

A pleasant stay in a good spot

Disappointing

Good location and staff.

We booked an executive room which was the best on we could find advertised as well as the most expensive. The bathroom was small and outdated with a very small shower over a tiny bath. We didn't have a sea view as advertised it was only of the inlet.

Overall we would stay there again due to its location and friendly staff.

The rooms were a little tired, but location was perfect, we asked for a pod coffee machine and a very lovely staff member brought one to us. The pool was an added bonus due to the heat.

The rooms were a little tired and the sliding door could bearly open on to the deck without force. There were giant ants crawling all over the deck.

Clean, good location

I was asked to complete an online check-in which took half an hour because uploading an image failed the first two times, then to add to the frustration when I arrived, I was asked to complete a paper check-in form again!

Superb

very central , rooms were clean and welcoming, staff were exceptional and friendly. and breakfast was really nice. don't forget to check out bushfire on the ground floor for dinner !

the bed was quite hard and pillows were a little flat and there no extra's in the cupboard to assist with that request

The WiFi was slow and unreliable. A bit of noise at night since the window didn't shut completely.

It was amazing. We had an absolute blast and definetley will be back, we have some great memories.

Staff was amazing breakfast was perfect the rooms where nice and clean, view is amazing it’s am very close to all the shops and everything is walking distance

I liked every bit of it though it would be cool if the tvs had more options to watch shows on

Disappointing, price did not reflect the deterioration. Needs serious refresh

Odour in every room, also in common areas Extremely dated - odd furniture (pool chairs in the room), Knicks on all walls, dented and dirty Harsh light in bathrooms

Great location but renovations needed.

Location and staff were lovely. Carpark for rental and close to everything. The swimming pool.

King bed was actually two single beds put together. I was told it was a king bed. Uncomfortable for my back. Needs renovation and the floor I was on smelt old like old musty smell. I turned the aircon off as it was too cold. Woke in the morning to condensation on the walls. I didn’t check the facilities when booking but I expected a microwave, washing machine and dryer - this was my fault (standard room). Also the teaspoon I went to use was dirty had coffee stain on it. Paint in bathroom was chipped. The cupboard handle that held the refrigerator - was sharp and hurt my finger so needed to use tissue or one of the hand towels to help open it. The refrigerator was very small and made a gurgling noise throughout the stay. The toilet cistern water kept running. I won’t be staying here again. This is my fault for not checking the facilities out in detail however I would not stay here with my family. For single traveller yes if they don’t mind these things. Almost $200 per night I stayed for two. Not good enough. Won’t be recommending here.

Exceptional

Lovely hotel. Within easy walking distance of all amenities. Lovely clean room//hotel.

The sun beds round the pool. Personal preference but I like to lie flat on a sun bed whilst sunbathing.
