Avoid

Getting my money back

Broken bath knob, creaky floor boards in room when people walked passed. Ran a murder mystery night which had people screaming and shouting running past the rooms.

Great choice, would definitely stay again

Beautiful old house with amazing decor. Staff were exceptional, so friendly and helpful. Showed us around the hotel

Wonderful hotel and great staff.

Everything!!! Went for our mini moon and we’re spoilt straight away with room upgrade, champagne and welcome on bed.

Maybe just immediate location, good base to explore but both not very keep on the immediate Redruth area.

Würden wir wieder buchen. Sehr sehr hundefreundlich, was nicht oft der Fall ist.

Alle Angestellten waren extrem freundlich und bemüht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unsere beiden Hunde waren sehr willkommen.

Wenn man überhaupt etwas bemängeln möchte, dann ist es die Zusammenstellung der Einrichtung. Alles sehr pompös und passt nicht unbedingt zusammen.

A gorgeous hotel, with incredible staff and a lovely atmosphere. Great restaurant too.

The staff were AMAZING! Nothing was too much trouble and they were chatty but not intrusive. Just perfect, across the board.

Ideal for location for work and once you get used to smell in bedroom the bed is very comfortable.

Nice touches in areas from tea/coffee area in room to copper bar. Comfortable bed and great shower and nice patio area outside.

Toilet seat wasn’t fixed properly and slid side to side by quite a bit. Very strong damp/awful smell in bedroom. Some of the meals way over priced and could have been cooked better.

Good location to travel from to other areas

Location was excellent to travel around from but not much in Redruth town. Bed very comfy. Staff very friendly.

Some areas a bit dated. Sofa in room looked very old. Swimming pool area was also a bit dated and could use some painting

A short 2 night break visiting friends in Falmouth.

The hotel is a handsome period property situated in pleasant grounds, with good facilities and plenty of parking. The staff are friendly and professional.

The carpets on the stairs and landings could do with replacing. Maybe the dinner menu could include some less expensive options.

Surrounding rooms not very soundproof and other guests repeatedly waking me up. Room service dinner a little ropey. In room fridge is a bit loud.

my stay was basic felt i did not get what was stated online

the breakfast was fine but very disappointment with the dinner. had chicken burger the outside was burnt and the chicken was not cooked. when i told the waiter i felt ignored no other options was given to me

i wasn't pleased when i booked the hotel the information stated in the spa there was a sauna but there is no sauna

Very average accommodation decor poor, staff unhelpful far to expensive.

The hotel was clean and the food was very good

The property needs lots of renovation the paint work, floors and walls are very shabby. Also some of the staff were very rude and unhelpful I asked if they could do anything about the very soft mattress, no one bothered to get back to me with an answer, which is very poor customer care but as it was a short stay I just managed with the discomfort.

Food was amazing. The spa had tables between the sun beds which was great, as you could put drinks/phones/ papers down. And the spa had a bar, which was also amazing! Great facilities and service!

The fact that I couldn’t get a simple sandwich for dinner. I didn’t want an evening meal or starter as I had already had a big meal earlier in the day. Told I would have to wait til 10.30 pm for the midnight munchie menu. I ended up falling asleep before this and waking up at 4 am very hungry. Decor was tired. View of a brick wall

Romantic hotel to complete our minimoon!

Wonderful staff, beautifully decorated and fantastic bedrooms! Such a romantic hotel. We absolutely loved the Venetian style deco, entwined with Cornish English countryside and beautiful artwork on every wall. The breakfast was suburb, especially the homemade jams (kiwi my fav). Evening meal was stunning! Such an exciting menu, and presentation was perfect.

The spa needs a refurb, however we loved how we could relax with a beverage by the pool. Such a relaxed atmosphere and every detail covered.

I stayed with my daughter and grandson for a birthday we enjoyed every minute of our stay very relaxing and enjoyed the facilities. We would stay again has my grandson loved the pool and it was nice that he could spend time in the jacuzzi with a adult.

I have no complaints about the hotel everyone was helpful and the service was great enjoyed our meals we had while staying there

Wonderful stay, would highly recommend

The food in the restaurant and for breakfast was superb. The staff were wonderful, so friendly and accommodating, and made our stay so special. The spa facilities were fabulous. The location was very accessible and easy to get to. Our room and the whole hotel was beautiful. Would highly recommend.

There was an event on the first night of our stay and the music was quite loud until midnight.

Attractive property, good location, nice staff. My room was spacious and comfortable as was bathroom… great bed! Good food and service in restaurant. Great value.

Long view from my bedroom great, but large attached flat roof of single story extension to main building was very ugly!
