Central, good breakfast, warm and clean.
Lift broken and we were on the 3rd floor, bed badly requires a new mattress.

It was late when I arrived, I was greeted with a warm Hello and big smile by the receptionist. She checked me in quickly and assured me if I needed anything just to phone down, the reception was manned 24hrs a day. I had a lovely room with a good sized immaculate bathroom and white fluffy towels. I had a fabulous night's sleep in a gorgeous comfy bed and pillow and a wonderful breakfast the following morning. 10 out of 10 all round.
Absolutely nothing, keep everything as it is please!

Near the station. Reasonable price. I was stranded in Carlisle due to the storm so I was lucky to get a room. Decent sized room , large bed.
Very old fashioned. Limited TV channels and ancient hand set. Light over sink didn’t work and angle poise lamp in bedroom wouldn’t stay upright so hard to do my makeup in the evening.
Bit noisy from street at night. Receptionist not very friendly. Lift out of order but only had a small suitcase.
