Rooms were clean and breakfast was excellent
Air conditioning was not working although we were informed in advance, after booking. Hotel was going through renovations but this didn't impact the stay

We have stayed at this hotel before, it's location is brilliant and easy access for shopping and eating out, with access to the city buses directly outside the hotel between the hours of 4.00am - 1.00am. While car parking was totally free of charge throughout our stay. The reception staff are really friendly and helpful at all times.
The room was very a very comfortable bed.
We had adequate wardrobe space and plenty drawers to keep our belongings tidy.
With a fridge, kettle, hair dryer, iron, and fans in the room.
A slight disruption was noticed to work being done as designs to the layout was ongoing, but notice to this was given previously beforehand. But it was noticeable in the restaurant for breakfast time.
Everything was still available to eat, but it needs attention towards the actual running of the kitchen and restaurant to bring it all together as one. without guests going to the kitchen doors to ask for cups, cutlery or tables to be cleared before sitting down.

Beds nice and comfortable, breakfast decent
The heating didn’t work, room was so hot , building work in progress , bar takes cash but didn’t have any change to give you on both stays. Told breakfast was 6:30am paid for it the night before as slightly cheaper , went at 6:30 to be told it’s 7:30am on weekend , and Wdnt refund us our money, so ended up being late as had to wait back the extra hour
