Oikein mukava hotelli

Hyvä aamupala, pirteä ja iloinen henkilökunta, hyvä sijainti. Suht edullinen ja mukava tunnelma.

Olisi hyvä kertoa asiakkaalle selkeästi, että jos varaa saunan, niin huoneen kortti pitää aktivoida respassa, jotta saunan oven saa auki.

Ci può stare!

La posizione era ottima, a 200 metri dalla fermata del tram e a 5/10 minuti a piedi dal centro. La stanza era abbastanza calda e super super calda (con -20 gradi fuori, era veramente una salvezza quando si rientrava). La colazione iniziava già dalle 6.30, la parte salata era buona, la parte dolce invece non era molto fornita, però c'erano cose interessanti (porridge, marmellate, ecc) e anche alcuni alimenti gluten free o vegan (es latte d'avena, porridge, pane, marmellate, ecc).

La parte dolce della colazione potrebbe essere più ricca. Il bagno della stanza era piccolo e la doccia non era un granché.

Comfortable and good value

Really happy with our experience at Hotel Arthur. The hotel's location was perfect for us, wanting to get out and explore central Helsinki. The staff were very friendly, and we were pleased when they let us check in early. The building and rooms are a little run down and showing signs of their age, but everything was working and comfortable. Our room was clean,well heated, and the beds were fresh. The bathroom was perfectly adequate too, nice hot shower with great pressure. The included breakfast buffet downstairs was amazing with an impressive variety of nice food and was a great start to a busy day of exploring/activities. Overall Hotel Arthur was great value for money and a good experience.

Onnistunut, sujuva majoittuminen.

Riittävä aamiainen, ylellisyys on turhaa. Keskeinen sijainti junamatkustajalle. Hyvä sänky, huoneessa ei mahdollisuutta parivuoteeseen muodon vuoksi. Hiljainen ja siisti. Huoneeseen pääsi jo aamupäivällä.

Vaikea keksiä mitään parannettavaa. Hissiremontti on ymmärrettävää.

Budget friendly, great location as base to explore Helsinki with a great buffet breakfast.

Breakfast was Avery good, lift has been upgraded since last stay 10ths ago. Fresh paint but rooms basic but clean and comfortable. As no air conditioning room becomes a bit stuffy. Fabulous location as park near by one end of the street, bars, restaurants and transport 5mins away the other end.

Curtains a bit short to block out the mid summer nights & no air conditioner so room stuffy but windows open

The corridor had musty old smell and the room seems abit old but it’s still alright. Only the corridors seems bad.

Age hotel with great location.

Location was superb, very near to Central station and attraction. All within walking distance. Walking with a 28" luggage to Central station to catch a train to airport nor catch a tram from olympia terminal is not an issue. Breakfast is good too.

No air conditioning in the room, I am using a fan to vantilate the room during summer. Bathroom and amenities is kinda age. Acceptable if you can compromise for the strategic location and the breakfast.

My go-to hotel in Helsinki. Always good value and fabulous breakfast.

This is the third time I have stayed here in the last 10 years. I love the Finnish breakfast, the helpful staff and the great location.

It is very simply furnished. I understand this keeps the prices manageable.

The hotel was well located for our first visit of Helsinki.

The location is nice!

They might get other hair dryers and new windows. The AC wasn’t working and it was not possible to open the windows during the night. They were looking like falling apart sooner or later.

A pleasant hotel with a good location.

Very good location, tram stop near the hotel and the city center is also nearby. Spacious, clean and quiet space.

Perfect location, exelent breakfast

Exelent breakfast. Our room on the 6th floor had a smell in the bathroom. It came from the wells. We kept the door shut so it did'nt bother us.

Just for the short stay

The hotel situates near the center. Breakfast was very good. Not so expensive hotel as many others in middle of Helsinki.

First impression was not charming. The room was little bit worn out.

Great location, good breakfast and excellent value

The location was quite central, within walking distance to the train and bus stations, restaurants, malls, etc. The building used to be the YMCA which was then renovated but still retained its heritage signs. The included breakfast had lots of choices of cold and hot food including healthy options and they always replenished the items. We almost did not need to have lunch as the breakfast was quite filling. The restaurant was nicely decorated and it was opened to public too. Luggage storage was useful for early arrivals and late departures.

Although clean, some parts of the hotel looked a bit rundown such as carpets, furnitures and linens. An electric kettle was provided in the room with tea, coffee and single use paper cups. Would be better to provide mugs and more supplies of tea and coffee rather than asking guests to go to the receptionist if we need more.

Excellent value for money for a price-conscious traveller near city centre.

Hotel Arthur is very centrally located near the University of Helsinki, within walking distance from the city centre and close to a metro stop and the train station. I had a really nice suite with a separate study/tv room and a bedroom. The bathroom was a bit small but well designed and everything worked well. Breakfast was good although I would have appreciated more plant-based options especially for dairy products.

Cannot really think of anything. However, this is a standard hotel, not a luxury place.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Good variety of food for breakfast.

No cups, or tea/coffee, despite having a kettle. No mini fridge, which would have been helpful. We had a group room, with four beds, which was a good size, but shared a small, basic wet room

Comfortable and cosy

Excellent hotel located in the city center. The comfort level is value for every penny you pay. The staff is great and very welcoming. Breakfast is also great. Rarely you find hotels so perfect.

The room was simple and could use some renovetation, but it was ok for the price I paid.
