Orida Maidstone

Our twin room was very good, with 2 queen sized beds. The bathroom was a little `tired` but all in good order and clean. Checking in (and out) was easy but I was surprised to need photographic ID

I was surprised and disappointed to find that there is a £6 charge for using the car park. There was no suggestion of that when booking (Booking.com)

The hotel was lovely , exactly what we needed for couple of days, lovely staff on the reception, restaurant they were all lovely and welcoming

There is nothing to say about the property what I didn’t like .

Room spacious and comfortable. Plenty of storage space including an extra large safe suitable for a laptop. Liked having a fridge. good shower although not a great fan of shower curtains. All on one level, good for us as one uses a stick and the other has 2 knee replacements. staff informative and helpful at all times. leisure area good, swimming pool fine, did not use locker system as with no glasses on could not read instructions, so took bag into poolside. Spa treatments great, and Beth could not have been more helpful.

Could have done with a line above the bath for hanging damp swimwear. We did find quite a bit of hair in the bathroom that was not ours. We both have short, grey hair. The hairs we found were long and black! On 2 of the 4 days, housekeeping was not done until late in the afternoon. Not easy to find way into grounds initially, easy when you knew how!

Good choice of food and great service from the restaurant

Bed was too hard, there was hair around the plug and a dirty sock that had been left in the beside table. For the best room in the hotel I would have expected better
