Pleasant

the hotel was cheap for Rovaniemi but the service was bad and the noise in the room of the air conditioner was horrible

close to city centre

I could hear everything in the hall way. cleaners talking and drunks at night. also the floors were cold and the toilet was dirty

Beware reception isn't at this hotel

The hotel reception was not at this hotel, you need to walk 10 minutes into town to another hotel, although they did send this in an email I later saw, it's very vauge and hard for travellers. They did not offer to drive us In the snow with out large bags.

Disappointing considering the amount it costs

The beds were comfortable and it was warm. Breakfast at the sister hotel was good. Good quality and plenty of choice.

It’s a hostel above a restaurant so strong smells. it wasn’t as clean as I had expected and no spoons for coffee.

Pleasant place corresponding to our expectations.

Coffee and tea you could cook in the room, it was OK.

We would have liked to get the key to the door between the two rooms and so have been able to avoid going out to the corridor and always be afraid of forgetting the key. Had the door between the two rooms been open the stay would have been much more family-friendly.

Walk to check in is not good. Don’t recommend.

It was warm and a bed. That’s the only thing I liked

No check in. The hotel we had to walk to to check in was a while away. Walking in a snow storm with luggage and children was not good Hotel was very budget. No staff on site. No cleaners nothing.

There must be real Santas magical elfs working here, maybe thats where the nane comes from.

I have stayed in this hotel many times. I reserved my hotel and about 30min laters when i cheked in, magick happened. They gave me the keycard whit my name and 2nd favorite room marked on it. they were apologising that they couldnt give me my favirite room this time. But here is the thing. I made a reservation 30min before the check in, and didnt say anything about any room etc. This hotel chain have a lot of hotels,apartments,hostels etc. I didnt tell my name at the check-in nor did i tell which hotel was it or what room did i wanted. and it was before the chek in time. Sure i am regular, but some of the staff at the chek-in where new. still in 30min! These people have to have superpowers or something. glad they use them for good. The service was so beyond perfect that i was shocked and unable to think anything to say. So i just thanked them and went in to my hotelroom. At the hotelroom i was felt bad that the hotelstaff did something nice for me and i only said thanks, but nothing else. When my last day at the hotel was coming close i booked another night (of course) but i forgot to notify the hotelstaff, still they didnt go knocking my door, although i made the reservation close to the cheking time. They probably knew they had stolen my heart again, and knew i was unable to leave early. I have left multiple good reviews of this hotel. I usually think that 1 review is good for 1 hotel, but here we go again. They keep improving and improving. You think that the service could not be any better and could not find any fault, but next time they have always been even better. So i have to brake my own rules and keep reviewing. They have reached the perfect level, for long time ago now they are far beyond it. First they were only polite, and warming your heart with their smiles, now they read your mind and give you service you didnt know could be physically possible, where do they go next?

There is really nothing bad to say about this hotel, only good things, but they keep improving (although it looks like there is nothing to improve) So much that the prevous good thing you said pales in comparison to the new one and ends up looking not so good.

Exceptional

Extremly griendly staff, they infected me with their warm and welcoming smile, and i cant stop smiling now. :) i reserved this hotel, and my vacation took longer than expected, so hour after check-out i made a new resevation to this hotel. Well they gave me the same room as before, but somehow they had managed to compleately clean the room, and replace the pillows,towels etc to the clean ones. they did this in under an hour without knowing that when the room is booked again. ! They must have magical powers or something. how is this even possible?? The rooms are always extreamly clean.

everytime i visit this city i try to stay the currently best hotel with the cheapest price. I try to find other hotels, but i have to stay here. I cant reserve any other hotel, because this is the best value for the money. I have been addicted to this hotel, help me! :D The hotel staff have so warm and welcoming smiles that, you end up extending your stay at the hotel, over and over again, and you visit this city for no other reason that to get your heart melted by their smiles, this eventually causes you to get addicted and spending all the money to this hotel, and visiting this city unneccearly. Be warned, this can cause you to go bankrupt.! :)

Good location, very suitable if outside is less than +30

Awful smell of food at the hotel’s hall and lobby, due to Chinese restaurant on the ground floor. No ventilation or air conditioning in the rooms (there was +30 degrees both outside and inside)

Price quality is very fine

Breakfast in main hotel (11.50€) is excellent, worth of money. It does start rather late - weekdays at 7.00, but it is great in quality. Parking is behind Rudolf, sometimes can be difficult to find spot but this time plenty of spaces available. There is kettle in room and few teas and instant coffee, also kitchen downstairs if you want to cook or heat up something. And chinese restaurant next door.

I would like to have foot towel in bathroom, need to use hand towel for that purpose. And shower cable was bit broken so it was over bending and stopping water flow.

One of the cheapest stay-overs in town. But still the pricing is over the top looking at the quality

Nice room, good beds.

Poor sound insulation, noise from other guests. Not really clean, found hair(s) on the bathroom floor. Appendages with damaged paint. Holes where once probably a soap dispenser had been attached. One (1) free power socket (and an extension cord in a cupboard. )
