The view was beautiful, love having the private beach inside the hotel . Food and drinks were great, considering that it was all inclusive resort .

I liked the food, the most
they lost our reservation through Booking.com. It took over an hour to check in, and the manager had to hand input the details from Booking.com. He never offered any kind of upgrade to compensate.

Family suite was huge and comfortable
Housekeeping was great with cleanliness
View from 7th floor was awesome ocean view
Unwelcoming reception staff, they refused to accommodate our floor request despite prior assurances
Deafening noise at reception on arrival due to construction ruined arrival experience
Our building was on a steep hill and very far from everything requiring hard walks or golf carts
Building was old and stairs and corridors very unattractive
Elevator in building were horrible, one was down all the time
Pools were filthy (debris, oily patches, seems filtering is very inadequate) and packed due to their small size
Hygiene in pools was dismal, witnessed a staff member fixing tiles bleeding in the pool, he actually was squeezing blood into the water for 30 minutes until I companied to another staff member, absolutely disgusting behaviour and a horrific bio hazard
We never were able to find pool or beach loungers, they are reserved by 6am and remain empty all day but reserved with towels.
Impossible to find umbrellas, everything was stressful to get.
Pool service was hard to get, most servers were unpleasant like everything was too much of an ask (they do not look happy to be working there).
Beach was not swimmable at all for the whole time we were there.
No sand, pebbly beach that hurts to walk on.
Food was very poor, too many buffets of low quality items and poor hygiene like raw fish left in 35C for hours with flies all around :(
Meals took forever to get in some restaurants, errors often made, service inconsistent.
Many drinks tasted just sugary coloured liquids.
Service was poor, even as we tipped for every single thing, only good service we found was in Italian restaurant and Cevicheria, everywhere else very passable despite constant tipping.
Pool table/gaming area closed early, why? Kids got so bored.
The entertainment was so poor, amateur stuff.
Air conditioning was extremely loud (old), both inside room, and outside on room balcony
All in all the worst resort we experienced amongst half a dozen in Mexico, Cuba and Dominican. Do no recommend.
