Praia da Lota Beachfront Resort - Hotel & Apartments

-welcoming and very friendly staff -two great pools -short walk and direct access to a beautiful beach -lovely chilled ambiance, exactly what we needed! -good size apartment with gorgeous sea and pool view -charming small town -great local sea food restaurant next to the beach called A Canoa (see photo) We had a wonderful time :)

-the bathroom was not practical at all. There was no storage space, cabinet or shelves to put away out toiletries (family of 4). Plus very old rusty shower curtain and rod. This costs nothing so we don’t understand how those are not immediately replaced -tiny wardrobe (suitable for 1 person really) in a one bedroom apartment where 4 people can sleep -dirty communal areas (we stayed in the apartment blocks) and the housekeeping every second day only -no sponge or tea towel provided in the kitchen

The staff were very friendly and helpful especially the reception staff. The snack bar was good after our early morning flight and reasonably priced. All areas and gardens in the resort were well maintained and clean. Close to beach and restaurants in Manta Rota. We had breakfast the next morning and there was a reasonable choice

The apartment with two bedrooms were clean and functional. Probably could do with an update as very basic and dated.
