Seaview super Clean

This is NOT a 5 Star hotel, more like 3 star. Restaurant average and over priced for what is on offer BREAKFAST very poor Waiters lacked training Bedroom needed Privacy Blinds overlooked by people on nearby rocks so had to draw curtains in daytime to dress. Pillows sponge filling ( 5 *? I don't think so) Pool area and outside bar looking very tired and totally uninspiring. Lack of any staff.

Nice location but could do with some freshening up

Location was nice.

Have been before- decor a little dated now.. staff not that helpful especially around things that shouldn’t be hard..asking about the hotel bikes.. putting us and our kids 3 floors apart (it was fine they are old enough but still… )

Fantastic boutique hotel with beautiful views in perfect location

Fantastic hotel, beautiful ocean views, perfectly located by the ocean, yet close to city center, nice restaurant with good local dishes, good variety of foods for breakfast, breakfast on the terrace facing ocean views. Rented bikes at the hotel and enjoyed the biking path by the ocean right from the hotel to Guincho beach..

Might be a bit noisy in the evening with people dining and staying late in the restaurant and bar (our rooms were just above), so closed the balcony to avoid the noise.. The pool is nit heated, so might be cold for some in May..

Great location, but overall a bit disappointing for a 5 star hotel

Comfortable rooms and good location.

The food in the hotel is very expensive, in particularly the lunch we ordered at the pool was extremely overpriced. The waiters agreed with us that the portions were extremely small (more like a bite than a lunch). We spoke with the manager, but this conversation was also very disappointing. You expect the prices to be higher in a hotel like this (the lunch we had in the hotel restaurant was still within the range), but in the bar and at the pool we just felt completely conned with their prices. Leaves a bad taste. The food in the Michelin star and other top rated restaurants was much better value for money

Views and location are absolutely incredible. Close to old town and the beaches. Staff very pleasant.

We paid for a standard room so keep this in mind. I am sure that if we had upgraded, the conditions would have been different. Our room was on the 1st floor/basement...it was a walk out level with nice patio. The carpets all along the hall were cut in pieces and bleached in spots. Really not a nice welcome as you're lead down a flight of stairs and feel as though you are walking into a basement. Just a very scrappy feeling. The hotel smells VERY strongly of cologne/perfume. Nice for some perhaps but way too strong for our liking.

Exceptional

Amazing location being right at the ocean side, exceptional staff looking after you and great rooms and decoration. After deciding to stay another night, we were offered an upgrade on the house. Really looking forward to coming back here!

underwhelming

The location is good, the other side of the marina about a 10 minute walk from the main square. beautiful view from poolside and friendly staff in the pool bar/breakfast restaurant. Concierge also helped us deal with a hire car issue which was very much appreciated.

something of a faberege egg. Slightly pretentious atmosphere all round. Food was good but overpriced. drinks were well overpriced. breakfast included was satisfactory but nothing special. the main issue was the maintenance- for a five star hotel, you don’t expect shoddy tiling in the pool, bathroom and appliances that don’t work. especially considering the art on the wall that they are trying to flog you. overall, trying to be something it’s not, and not getting the basics right for the money

The location of the hotel is very nice.

For the value, we felt the room (202) did not meet the standard of a 5 star hotel. The bedding was ok, not great. There were really no additional touches that made us feel we were staying in a 5 star hotel other than all of the artwork installed in the hotel. The breakfast was nice, but "typical". There was nothing "over the top" about the breakfast offering, and, in fact, when I asked for an omelet the first morning it felt as though I was imposing upon the kitchen. We felt the pool offerings were just ok. Sometimes we had to get our own towels, and there was no active service asking if we wanted something to eat or drink (as we would expect from a 5 star hotel). The lounges were hard and uncomfortable.

Pool area, all of the staff, location and breakfast.

Our room was a very odd shape with a huge wooden truss taking up most of the space and limiting movement, the Seaview was one fairly small window! The TV didn't work and there was no magnifying mirror although these two issues were dealt with promptly.

Disappointing and a total waste of money

Nothing!

Hotel’s interior is dated and poorly maintained. The carpet in the suite was worn and the cleanliness levels aren’t meeting the acceptable standards. The breakfast selection doesn’t come near 5 star hotel.

best property in cascais

unique, beautiful location. surrounded by amazing art. attentive staff. views are to die for!!!

with exception of breakfast, food was subpar. think shrimp “ceviche” with chopped up shrimp, shells on (by accident).. in a place with the best shrimp in the world. for the view only. stained carpet in hallways, needed some update or cleaning. despite high design throughout, rooms are simple which was ok.

the property was in a good location for accessing the restaurants and beach. Lovely pool area and view. Good breakfast

The room was quite small with little space for luggage. Food and drinks expensive.

Exceptional

The staff, location and view was amazing!

The hotel and room was very clean but they use highly scented cleaning products or sprays which makes it unpleasant to walk into the room after a day of sightseeing. Had to open the window with the AC on to get the scent out.
