The owner Joel was so kind and helpful.
His hospitality made the whole stay wonderful.
Every day to enter a clean and tidy room was always a pleasure
The amenities and welcome foods and drinks provided was great to kickstart the stay
The view from Balcony was amazing specially during sunset.

The rooms are spatious and have everything one needs for a pleasant stay. Daily cleaning service is provided.
Sir Joel went an extra mile with hospitality - offering advices, booking tours, providing fresh bread buns every morning and ending our trip with a local sweet cake.
One of the benefits of Vila Marta is the location in Sao Martinho that’s close to Funchal, but away enough that we didn’t have to worry about parking - it was always available at front of the vila.
Nothing to mention here - we had a wonderful stay from start to finish!

Very friendly, chatty and helpful staff.
Rooms clean and lovely.
Staff give you bread every morning enougth for breckfast and packed lunch.
Nice area espically if you have a car and need somewhere easy to park. Bus stop with links to funchal right down the road as well.

Joel & his son were an absolute delight to meet. Very accommodating & our happiness was of their upmost importance. Property was clean & spacious. So great to have a kitchen area.
A bit too far out from the action or main areas but we felt safe which is of utmost importance.
