Location, facilities and value
My booking could not be found and I had avery stressful experience trying to prove i had booked. It was to do with me booking with booking.com. I edited rooms to have my friends allocated to a room for their arrival because it was 6 rooms altogether. This messed up the original name on the booking which was mine and the reception staff member was unable to find it when the first guest arrived to book in. I was still travelling and I had to provide several emails of my booking before I could provide a lead to the booking with the guy at reception. He was stressed, I was stressed and it all happened because I could add guest names through edit booking in the manage my booking in my booking.com confirmation on the app and did so not knowing the booking then was no longer in my name. The desk member described it as a mess which I was insulted by, because it was inadvertently done. I didn't mean to cause a mess but I inadvertently made it very difficult for him to find the booking once I added names to rooms within the booking. Anyway, once sorted, everything was 👍

From start to finish, our stay at the Sheraton Athlone Hotel was perfect. The hotel is beautifully maintained, and every area was spotlessly clean, from the bedrooms to the pool and spa facilities and the hotel is located right beside the town centre.
The staff were fantastic throughout our stay, always friendly, professional, and willing to help. We booked the spa treatment which was excellent and incredibly relaxing big thanks to Sinead. The pool area was also outstanding, clean, well maintained.
Our bedroom was comfortable, immaculate, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The food was delicious, with a great selection and excellent service.
A special mention must go to the manager, Garrett, who was extremely friendly and took the time to check in with us to make sure we were enjoying our stay.
I would highly recommend the Sheraton Athlone Hotel and look forward to returning in the future.
