Our dining experience at the hotel's restaurant on our last night. We had booked a table earlier in the day for 6.30 pm and were given a table right next to the blinds which were meant to provide shelter from the wind. We got our drinks and then ordered our meals. We waited for over 30 minutes for our Chicken Parmas to arrive. My husband finally went to the person who took our order to enquire what happened to our meals. He mentioned that we were planning on watching the football on TV at 7.30 pm. A waiter came out and said that they had lost the docket and that our meals would arrive very soon. He must have found it because he asked if they were the ones with no ham. We waited again for over 30 minutes and at 7.45 pm decided we had waited enough. We went to cancel our meals and the waiter came and said they are coming out now. We told him we were not waiting any longer, received a refund and went back to our room and had toasted sandwiches for dinner. We did not even receive an apology. The whole time we sat there (knives and forks at the ready) the waiter was bringing various meals to the next table but never checked on us. It felt like we were invisible. In commercial kitchens it should not take an hour to prepare two Parmas especially when they are on the specials list. I could have done better in my own kitchen.

Location, location, location. Lovely beach, short walk to town. Restaurant was great.

The location was great.

The room was old and needed an urgent refurbishment, especially the bathroom. The room was located above the restaurant. Therefore, it was very noisy and smelly until late and from the early morning hours onwards. The room was not worth the value of the price.
