I really liked the location, the cost, the services, and the welcome gift. The room is great with an office desk and lots of storage. it provided kitchen resources which was great. I also utilised the gym, which was fantastic considering I need physical activity. I liked the side lamps, including the office desk lamp. I like the colour black, it is sophisticated. the staff were amazing and accommodating.
I am very fussy with my beds. The bed is too firm and does not have a pillow top or thick mattress topper which is vital for my hip condition. Additionally, the air conditioner was broken. The staff did offer to put me in another room, but I had already unpacked and settled. This should be checked daily. I did not appreciate the city noise.

the facilities were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, I had a super king bed which was very comfy. Also my trip involved a lot of walking so it was in a prime location where I needed to go to Aotea Square, Koro Te Kanawa Centre, Queen Street, Sky Tower..I would definitely stay there again maybe on the 10th floor next time. I still rate The Edit 10/10

Good location right in the CBD and staff were nice
Our shower had black mold in it, sticky spots on the carpet and I had the worst sleep of my life. Water was leaking onto the heat pump unit outside the room and the constant drip on the metal was so loud that it kept waking me up which is frustrating because the bed was comfortable. Sadly the windows didn’t open either otherwise we could have put a t shirt or something on it to absorb the noise. Very frustrating when we spent over $250 and couldn’t even sleep
