The care of the hosts is exceptional, they kept the lobby open as our drive was a bit subverted by flooding. They checked in to see we were ok along the way and had the heat on and the place warmed up for our arrival.

Close enough to walk to local eateries.
Very very cramped. Fridge was not switched on, and freezer section didn’t work. No hob so cooking was limited. No space to put anything. Tiny hand basin which is too small to wash in, let alone do the washing up!! It was the only sink. Swimming pool is a small raised paddling pool which was covered up and not made easily available. Very disappointing overall.
