The manager resolved an issue I've had with junior staff having very low clearance for support.
Staff are not empowered to resolve simple requests such as late checkout (which is the norm in all hotels). If you don't wanna empower your staff, make it a paid service it would shift responsibility and customer dissatisfaction.

Location was great!
It’s a bit dated and old fashioned. I think the rooms could do with new bathrooms and carpets were old and worn.

I stayed at a building next to the security guard (not the main building). Unfortunately, this building was quite outdated and poorly maintained, which was disappointing. From a brand like Marriott, I would expect a higher standard of upkeep and consistency across all accommodation areas.
