Do not use this hotel

Nothing

Do not book this place if you are sent to the VR hotel beside the main hotel. It's terrible. I didn't even want to walk bare feet on the floor. AND they have charged me for a meal I didn't have and I am having huge issues with their correspondence

Eklig ! Siehe oben.

dreckige Bettlaken(!!), kaputte Einrichtung, Feuermelder Batterie im Gang war leer und so piepte der ständig, Duschaufhängung kaputt, abgeblätterte Wandfarbe. Völlig abgewohnt. Wir würden nie wieder dort übernachten. Preis-Leistung eine Farce !

Easy check in. Easy check out. Private. Not overly clean but okay just to sleep.

Good value for money and friendly staff

It was a good stay and location is really close to the Airport. Our stay was practical and hustle free. Would recommend

Property is a bit dated and the fridge was a bit noisy (the fridge is the only thing i would change)

A quiet, comfortable place to sleep after a long journey

Comfortable, quiet clean facilities enabling us to have a good night's sleep following an overseas trip. We appreciated being able to use the shuttle from International and again to domestic the next day. We did not use the restaurant but appreciated it was a possible option for us which we will probably use next time we visit(early in June)

Not as bad as the reviews make out

Nice hotel with a restaurant which we didn't try out. The room was spacious, the bed & pillows were really comfy and we slept really well. Had a kettle & fridge in the room. No spoons but the reception staff gave us some with no issues when I went to ask. The free airport shuttle bus was very handy.

The bed sheets were stained with black mark so I hope they were properly washed beforehand. I'm sure they were.

Nice staff, but not a good stay.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, the floor in our room wasn't clean. The carpet in the hallway was gathered and creating trip hazards. It just generally wasn't very comfortable. I've stayed here in the past and felt it was great value for money for a quick trip, but the quality of the rooms and the hotel itself has gone downhill.

Needs a lot of work

All the staff tried their best. They were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to be accommodating.

The property is desperately in need of renovations. The rooms have been left to deteriorate. A decent handyman could fix most of the issues. A proper cleaning of carpets would be an advantage. Covering up large holes in the walls with badly placed old pictures is just not acceptable. Using covid as an excuse for run-down properties is no longer an option!

Very convenient for an early morning flight, bedding was very comfy.

Convenient location, beds were comfy.

Had to request both kettle and tv remote as nothing in room. No conditioner in shower.

Had to go across to another part of the Motel, pass an old swimming pool, through something like a common room, pass a kitchen to a very small room with a fan and a small window. Smelt a bit as well.

Could not wait to get out!

Proximity to airport. That’s it!

Dirty! Curtains hanging off the runners, Big hole in the door jam ? Chain broken? No hangers ( NOT ONE!) No tissues, no hand towel, blanket too small for the bed. Skirting boards deep in dust. Could not recommend this motel at all.

i would not recommend the place to another person

The staff were mechanical, not personal at all. Money was the focus. The breakfast staff was shocking. the dining room tables weren't wiped down after each diner left. instead, they were just left dirty, there were crumbs all over the tables, from the previous diners. I am a breakfast restaurant for a millennium hotel and the staff are not very welcoming and friendly at all, I am not sure whether that is because they have limited English language. the Indian male staff were very distant, they were all males which is not good at all, where are the local people, why haven't they been employed. the room access was a real pain where you could not access the room from the carpark you had to walk into the hotel and then walk around to your room. the gardens were shabby, needs flowers, make the place look nice and high class.

Probably won't stay here again.

The building our rooms were in was under construction. It was damp and smelled and there were soft patches in the floor. The rooms were very basic with poor finishing and cleaning. The doors let light in from the hall way and the shower went hot to cold and water pressure went off and on.

Room for improvement

Free shuttle bus, which isn't the fastest way to get to the airport but is a great free option, and it runs all day and night. It is also good to have a restaurant open early and until late. The room was clean.

I booked a room at Airport Getaway and not at VR Airport Hotel. They are across the car park from each other, but the fact you have to go to Airport Getaway for check in, for the restaurant, for the shuttle bus and anything else you may need assistance with. Makes it annoying. Also, when you check in, it would be nice if the staff explained about the other hotel and make sure you are OK with staying there. The rooms are different. The restaurant was pretty average, the staff in general didn't look very professional and the chef and the manager were having an argument right in front of everybody. The food was also very average, and you feel there is no point in complaining. It was 9.30 pm and I just wanted to eat and go to bed.

Value for money

Breakfast was a continental type and quite adequate. Excellent location for airport and city.

A little old and tired but you can see that improvements are being made.

Kitchen was not very useable. Cooking utensils and pots and silverware were lacking it in bad condition.

Budget stay for travel stopover.

Free shuttle made the travel easy. Front desk staffs were friendly. Room was spacious.

Molded smell when entered the room. Shower was weak. The facility could have a bit update. The shuttle stops quite few hotels along the way so it took more than 30mins to/from the airport.

Nice clean room and friendly staff and convenient location to where we needed to get to.

Great value for money

Great value for money, very friendly staff, delicious buffet breakfast, comfortable beds, decent shower. Highly recommend as a affordable stay before a flight. Will definitely stay again.

Unfortunately housekeeping had missed vacuuming some food and lolly crumbs from the previous guests (an easy thing to miss) but the beds and the rest of the facilities were clean, and it was still a great stay.

Did the trick for the night.

Check in was easy and the room was run down but clean. We had a car park right outside our room and the airport bus was perfect.

The first staff member to great me didn’t speak English but after that the lady was very helpful. Check in was easy and the room was run down but clean. The toilet seat was broken, the chairs felt they were about to break very wobbly. Curtains were mouldy and bathroom had no fan.

Staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly, nice clean room

Couldn’t fit a mobility walker past the furniture ( but we hadn’t mentioned we needed a bigger room)
