The Bell Hotel

The hotel was beautiful, food was lovely, friendly staff and great location.

There wasn't anything to dislike.

Room was very rundown & outdated for the price charged

The breakfast room was nice and clean. I needed to move to another bedroom, when I got there. The bedroom reserved for me was too small. The manager quickly put in another room, without any hesitation.

I had the English Breakfast, the food was nice but not hot enough for me.

In fairness, I think it was good (rather than excellent). My room was clean. The sheets on the bed were good quality, although I chose initially to sleep on top of the bed as it was a hot night. The shower was good. The breakfast was very good. All of the staff that I dealt with were very polite.

The room was incredibly hot. I ended up having to lie on the floor beside the window to get some fresh air. However, what we were most disappointed that on our evening, at the hotel public bar and also within the hotel, as hotel guests (4 of us) when we requested a drink well in advance of 11pm closing time, we were declined as they said the bar was shut and our evening was prematurely concluded without ceremony. We explained that we were staying at the hotel but they still said no (and we were not intoxicated). Very, very disappointed.
