location was ok and room was quite modern
this is not a four star property. facilities weren’t as advertised. spa jet in pool not working and rusty. very strange feel on arrival. We asked for a double room
and literally it was two single bed pushed together. i understand this happens in hotels but usually there is a topper over the join and a double quilt but this was literally just two singles pushed together and single quilts on top so we could fall down the gap in the middle! We was offered a room with a double bed to swap too but it didn’t have the same view and felt too much of a faff to change for one more night. no towels offered for the pool. turn down service to make the beds was done and beds made but toilet roll empty and not replaced. not the four star service you would expect. staff seemed friendly but not overly interested. It just generally seemed a bit worn out!
