I didn’t understand why the deposit was kept. I received my refund at checkout, no one checked the room, so there was no clear reason to charge or retain the deposit.
In general, the smell in the room was not pleasant.
Additionally, water was leaking from the shower every time I used it, which resulted in a large amount of water on the bathroom floor after each shower.
On the checkout day, when I came back around 6:00 pm to collect my luggage, I was told that I could not have a cup of hot water because “all the cups had already been prepared for breakfast and I was not allowed to touch them.” I found this response unreasonable.
