Great for an overnight stay

Exactly as advertised, it's an unexpensive no-thrills hotel next to a train station, but the rooms were clean and adequate size, everyone was really friendly. We arrived outside their opening hours (1PM) but still got help from a cleaning lady, opening the garage to leave our bikes and bags. While the hotel is technically in Villeneuve, it's right next to the bridge that goes to Avignon (if you need to eat, make sure to consider Blue Pavilion restaurant, on an island just between the two cities and has a good view to the city and the palace through the river).
I don't know much anything about business model of French hotels, but maybe the asking price for breakfast (12e pp) was a bit too high. We didn't take it and I think breakfast room was almost empty when we popped in to see if we're missing anything. Also, some train traffic runs in the night and it was noticeable (though I guess it comes with location and the price range, just something to expect).

Comfortable bed and good breakfast in rooftop room with river view and outdoor seating. Relatively easy parking.
Slightly cramped room (I believe other rooms are bigger). Fifteen minute walk over bridge into Avignon can be a bit tiring in the sun.

It was convenient - the property from where my cycling trip started. Variety at breakfast - fresh fruits 👍🏼
Small rooms. Shower head faulty. Stale smell prob due to lack of ventilation in bathroom.
