"Spent a couple of nights with 2 kids as we wanted to go skiing in Guzet. The place is 20mins drive away and way more afordable than staying right in the station. Rooms are ok, not luxurious, not basic..."

Friendly staff however with meal would have preferred slightly more selection of vegetables and or potatoes with steak as opposed to just french fries that were just acceptable
Bedding blankets could have been more luxurious as they were very basic

Location was beautiful. Garden was stunning .
Room on top floor got too hot in the heat wave, chose a lower floor if possible.

The location right above the river was nice. Also, the place is really vintage, yet taken care of. So it gives the vibe of visiting your grandparents. Nature around is amazing. Food was okay.
The receptionist was rude. First of all he offered us an expired beer. From Google reviews we realized, that it's not the first time, so apparently he tries to sell stuff that's expired, which is illegal in the EU. Then when we were nearly going out of the room at 11, we needed a few more minutes to make sure we packed everything. Yet he came and started yelling that checkout is at 11 and created pressure. So the attitude of the host was bad, not hospitable. On the contrary, the chef came from the kitchen and introduced himself and then asked if we were happy with the meal, a very sweet man.
The room had a bad smell, I assume it's from old things in it. Also, I don't have any issues with animals, I love animals, but their cats and dogs are walking around and entering the kitchen. For those who are allergic it might be an issue. Also pillows were uncomfortable. And a bunch of insects were everywhere. I guess it's hard to handle them in the middle of nature, but still. Some spiders had a pretty thick net build in our room, so it means the room wasn't properly cleaned before we arrived.
