Newly renovated (stayed during the renovation) room with stylish modern decor. Soft comfortable bed that was a real double bed (instead of the common two twins pushed together). It's nice that there is a window that can be opened. Convenient walk away from the concert venue.
I understand that it was mid renovation and that the AC wasn't working, but it was quite hot even with the window open. A mosquito net would be nice for the window. However, finding the smoke detector inside the safe instead of the ceiling was a bit odd. Surely a fire alarm is something that should be installed before letting guests into the room! Coffee cups had stains on them so washing more carefully would be nice.
