This hotel was an excellent, charming Three Star German-style hotel and restaurant. Everything was nice and clean. The restaurant did an amazing job with the menu which was incredibly varied and came with a $2 addition option to add soup, salad and desert. I did and it was too much food! The small breakfast bar was full of both hot and cold items - everything I would ever want for breakfast.
Can’t think of anything, except for adding a couple English TV stations on the TV.
This is not a negative, but some staff have limited English understanding, so practice your German before coming.

All our basic needs were met. Breakfast was outstanding and not too pricey (12.50 per person in 2025).
Decor is very 1990s and smells that way (not a bad smell, just that hotel smell). Receptionist seemed not happy to see us. No dedicated bike parking. Location isn't near anything interesting.

The hotel is a bit dated but okay, given the price range.
The location is a bit remote, so to get to the city center takes time. Still quite some traffic around the hotel, so the reote location doesn't give quietness. The breakfast in the restaurant is fine, but don't go there for dinner (we only went for the all-you-can-eat schnitzel buffet): quality of food and staff is just below standards.
