Ein paar Tage in Bad Kreuznach

Von den Mitarbeitern der Anmeldung wurden wir äußerst freundlich empfangen, Das einzige wovon das in die Jahre gekommene Hotel profitieren kann, ist seine Lage .

Leider hat das Hotel insgesamt seine besten Jahre hinter sich und ist stark renovierungsbedürftig, weshalb auch das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis nicht stimmt. Gleichfalls war die Parksituation eine Zumutung, 7,--€/Tag bei 15 Parkplätzen und über 100 Zimmern. Kommentar erübrigt sich wohl. Man war ständig auf der Suche. Frühstück wurde wochentags bereits um 9,00 Uhr nicht mehr nachgelegt und man bekam nur auf Anfrage Wurst oder sonstiges, während am Samstag die Auswahl in Ordnung war.

Schöne Lage aber nicht preiswert.

Schöne Lage am Park. Wir hatten einen kleinen Balkon und Blick auf die Nahe. Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sehr sauber. WLAN funktioniert. Durch den Park ist man in 10 Minuten in der Altstadt. Mehrerer Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe.

An der Rezeption braucht man etwas Geduld. Parkplätze sind vorhanden (Parkplatz und Parkkeller) aber nicht ausreichend, reservieren kann man sie nicht. Der „Parkkeller“ ist extrem eng und für größere Autos eher ungeeignet. Bad ist o.k. aber die Dusche ist sehr klein. (Ca. 80x80 cm). Preis ist etwas zu hoch.

Für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Ordnung. Allerdings gibt es schönere Hotels zu diesen Konditionen.

Die Lage ist ansprechend nahe am Kurpark und Erholungsgebiet von Bad Kreuznach. Das äußere Erscheinungsbild des Hotels ist von vorvorgestern. Innen wurde es teilweise wohl renoviert, die Aufzüge dürften noch aus den 70igern sein. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, die Betten gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ich schlafe bei offenem Fenster, der Lärm von der Straße begann schon vor 06:00 Uhr.

Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung aber entspricht nicht dem Preis, der verlangt wird. Der Parkplatz wird ausgewiesen und vor Ort dann eine Gebühr verlangt. 7 € sind o.k. aber die Plätze äußerst eng und in der Tiefgarage ist es nicht viel besser.

Great overnight stay to enjoy the area

We liked this hotel for the position that was close to the river. We were able to walk to a very nice Italian restaurant nearby and enjoyed the accomodation after a long day hiking in the area. The staff was helpful and the room quiet and clean.

The furnishings in the room were ok. The terrace could have used some chairs. Everything was fine...just not WOW!

Puzzling -- this could be a really nice hotel, but it wasn't.

Room was very large, and had a wooded view.

Hotel seemed deserted -- very few bookings. The staff were almost invisible; most of the time there was no one at the reception desk. Lobby and halls were kept dark as if to save on electricity. When we asked to have our luggage stored for an hour between check out and our departure for the train station, we were told to put our bags in a meeting room which was unlocked and unwatched.

Electrical kettle in the room. That is rare in Germany, but very much apprechiated! There was also a fridge that was very quite. Bonus points for that as well.

Nie and clean

The hotel is clean and well located, very close to the park and the mineral water springs. From there is also possible to do a very scenic walk along the river to the Ebernburg castle (highly recommended!). The breakfast was very good, with plenty of options and good coffee.

The fitness area was not working due to the corona-related restrictions.
