Pleasant stay in nice period building with great breakfast

Great location, room was located in traditional “timber framed” part of building - beautifully adapted. Spacious and corner windows meant loads of natural light. Brilliant breakfast in clean modern breakfast room.

Multiple key cards would be a nice touch so that you can leave the room and not have to disconnect the electricity (for ventilation, charging etc.)

It was a bit shabby inside and the room was dark

It is in the centre of town. The staff were nice.

The entrance was a site entrance and it felt like a loading entrance where you walked by the kitchen with its door wide open. For some reason they don’t let you in through the front door.

Everything was great! Clean, lovely room & bathroom, lovely area - and really nice breakfast.

Wonderful hotel! We were booking the hotel close to midnight for the same night, and the lovely young man at the front desk called us to ensure we were on our way and had the correct dates - and came out in the middle of the thunderstorm to help us find our way. Amazing rooms! Modern design with some historical elements - very clean and comfy!

Very pleasant stay in a nice town, with possibilities for evening walk.

Constant quality, it is now 5th or 6th stay and every time friendly reception and very good buffet breakfast.

Not too many parking spaces.

beautiful town, great stop over to Austria. dog friendly (but not cheap). fine breakfast and free parking. fine local dinner in the restaurant

the walkin shower was nice, but blocked, flooded my room (hard to tell with walkin showers without my glasses on)(nice staff did fix the problem) opposite the reception is a bar, where smoking is permitted. the reception area (and staff who use the bar as smoking area) smell of smoke.

the building is located right in downtown Blaubeuren, rooms are big, cozy with all facilities, king size beds are comfortable. breakfast buffet is a plus with a huge variety of food both sweet and salty.

This is a such a cute little town; a great place to explore, photograph & one of our best meals in Germany!

Charming building, fantastic location, very friendly staff & fantastic breakfast

The bed was a little hard for our liking and the pillows were basically nonexistent :/

We wished we had more time to explore the beautiful town!

Staff were wonderful and friendly. The location was beautiful. Our room was a family room which was surprisingly large and well stocked with a FULL kitchen. The room was a bit older and it felt compared to other rooms hasn’t been updated in a while but was extremely clean and well kept. Very nice breakfast.

It was VERY warm and stuffy as there was no air conditioning.

For a good stay with shops, beerstubes and restaurants nearby.

Breakfast has a wide choice of delicious food, even veggie and vegan or glutenfree. Allergic ingredient info is present. anti covid rules are strictly respected. Rooms are very clean and the staff is really friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was phantastisch with a big variety. The room was big and the location was near the BLAUTOPF. The only thing I didn’t like,there was no taxi available when I arrived @ the railway Station and I had to walk to the hotel. It wasn’t very far but I’m 75 and it was not easy for me.

We really liked staying in the Ochsen hotel. Well located, with parking possibilities, all clean, neat, good food, reasonably good beer and a perfect dog of the owner and czech speaking waitress. When visiting Blaubeuren again, will stay here again.
