Sehr guter Check-In, freundliches Personal, ein ordendliches Früstücksbuffet und unser Zimmer lag mit Blick vom Balkon auf den Bach! Schön ruhig und doch zentral zum Ort
Ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer wäre bei hohen Temperaturen wünschenswert.

When we arrived we thought the hotel was closed, unlike the pictures the place was run down (hotel sign smashed), weeds growing through the patio and no sign of life. However, when we rang a bell someone appeared with a key and we let ourselves in. The room was large but very basic. No air conditioning so it was lucky we had our own fan. Shower was good, bed felt hard but clean. Excellent breakfast.
Our balcony looked out on to the river, but once again it looked uncared for. The restaurant and beer garden at the hotel are no longer open. Kenzingen seemed to have fallen on hard times! Most restaurants had shut down and the choices for eating were limited. We decided to go to nearby Herbolzheim to eat, we found a thriving town and an excellent Greek restaurant.

Die Zimmer waren ok. Das Bett war für mich zu weich. Es wurde täglich gründlich gereinigt. Kühlschrank zum kühlen eigener Getränke war vorhanden.
Das Bad war etwas zu klein. Bei der Buchung war nicht ersichtlich, dass der Biergarten und das Restaurant geschlossen sind. Die Außenanlagen machen einen sehr ungepflegten Eindruck. Zum Glück hat sich der erste negative Eindruck im Haus nicht bestätigt.
