I loved the air conditioning and the bed was very comfortable. It was also a quiet retreat inside the hotel compared to the busy, somewhat chaotic street outside. The bathroom was also really nice.
The upholstered furniture was heavily used, and I didn't feel comfortable sitting on it. The breakfast room is beautiful, but the food offerings were just ok.

The location is perfect, within steps of the Glockenspiel, as well as a variety of restaurants and beer gardens, including the famous Hofbrauhaus. For the farther-flung sites, the train is also very close, and there were always taxis waiting right around the corner. The operators of this hotel are very helpful and pleasant. We arrived well before check-in, and they allowed us to store our bags so that we could explore the area. The breakfast was excellent, with eggs, sausages, and a wide variety of cheeses, breads, yogurts, condiments, and other options. Perhaps most important of all in July...there was air-conditioning in our room! I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a short overnight stay and had 3 rooms, very comfortable. The location is superb for investigating the old town but therefore busy. However we found the windows were great for removing external noise. The breakfast was lovely and we appreciated the access to water in such hot weather. The room facilities were good and we appreciated little attentions-to-detail like the shower-caps provided. Overall staff and facilities were great and highly recommended.
Parking was tight so wouldnt want to be using the car whilst staying, not an issue for us on an overnight stay though. It is not the biggest Hotel being a townhouse. It would be an improvement to have access to water all day in hot weather.
