It was an amazing stay, from the first step until our departure. We had an incredible experience. The hotel has a charming atmosphere, and by far one of the best beaches in Fujairah. Our room was incredible and the room view was stunning. I would like to thank the hotel team as everyone contributed for us to have a fantastic stay. In particular, I would like to highlight Dario from Concierge, who went above and beyond, to ensure everything was top notch. Thank you Dario and Front Office team for all the efforts, you made our stay, and your attention to details made it truly special. Also, thanks to Shihab from the Bell team, Dilsa from reception, club lounge team, and the entire team from views brasserie, they were very hospitable. We will definitely come back, and thanks again to Dario and Front Office team who made it absolutely memorable.

I am a frequent visitor to al aqah and have always chosen Le Meridien for its exceptional facilities, very large rooms and great cuisine. The hotel has been renovated and is well taken care of, the pools are big and water is comfortable. Food is still amazing.
Surprisingly too many things this time were not up to the standard. To start with, the renovation is done beautifully, but lacking basic usability and logic. Bathroom extended taking the space from rooms. Bathroom light switch is only at the entrance or next to one side of the bed, good luck wondering in the dark trying to find toilet. Next, there is a glass wall between the bathroom and the bed. Does not make sense either for couple or families! Once the kids are asleep, there is no chance to use the bathroom as the light is too bright and the blind is not blackout. Finally, the pillows are super hard as rocks. We all left with stiff necks. I had issues with AC because the sensors on the window were not replaced and are barely functioning. The AC is super loud. Outside the room there is absolutely nothing to do, no activities, no animation, even the single bar they had on top is closed. There is one lady who does all the entertainment, but the place is awfully boring.

We recently visited Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort in Abu Dhabi, a renowned five-star resort, and unfortunately, our experience with the hospitality and guest reception at this property was disappointing.
In particular, in this resort the staff assigned to the reception and guest-welcoming area did not demonstrate the level of warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism that one would reasonably expect from a five-star property. The initial welcome is an important part of the guest experience, as it creates the first impression of the resort. Unfortunately, the manner in which we were received lacked genuine hospitality and did not make us feel particularly welcomed as guests.
This was especially noticeable when compared with our experience at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort, where we received an exceptional level of hospitality. Despite also being a five-star resort, their staff demonstrated warmth, courtesy, attentiveness, and a sincere willingness to assist, making the overall experience feel truly special.
We believe that hospitality should be at the heart of any five-star resort experience, particularly for employees responsible for welcoming and interacting with guests at reception. We hope the management will take this feedback constructively and consider additional training and attention to guest service standards.
A beautiful property and excellent facilities can certainly enhance a stay, but it is the people and the way guests are treated that ultimately leave a lasting impression. We sincerely hope that the resort will address this aspect and ensure that future guests receive the level of hospitality expected from a five-star establishment.
