I loved the location first of all. Close enough for a walk by the river or to the old centre, but also to Coop for some food shopping. Then the staff is very helpful and kind. The apartment was nice, too, and comfortable. The shower - fabulous! The apartment has all you need to have a practical and comfortable stay. And the hotel has a garden. It's so nice to go out and have a cup of coffee there.
There is nothing I can think of at the moment.

Short walk to trams and trains, room was clean and comfortable for a couple. Staff were friendly and helpful, supplying us with Basel Card which took care of public transport and some discounts. Not far from the river and lots of bars and restaurants.

First and foremost the staff at the reception were exceptionally pleasant and helpful - thanks for that. The hotel is in a great location - a short walk from the conference centre and the Altstadt and the breakfasts were great.
A comfortable chair in the apartment would have been nice (there was only a desk chair), but there was nothing that I didn't like.

Great location. Very reasonable price. Little kitchenette is useful for storing water and maybe breakfast pastries. Shower was great and having toilet in separate room is good too.
Aircon did not work. Decor was not in great condition. It was meant to be four people staying in the room but it would have been very stuffy and the door separating two rooms would not close so there was no privacy. Simple things that if fixed would make all the difference.
