Location is spot on - only 5 min walk from the train station and the airport bus stop. Trams to the city center stop just in front of the hotel. Basel card is provided az check-in, which is very handy, as it is valid for the public transportation in Basel. By the way, I highly recommend a one-day trip to Colmar - only 43 min via train!
No roof over the balcony - it was too hot there to enjoy being outside during the day. It is also not advantageous when it rains. A small fridge would have been nice to keep our drinks cold. The staff at reception could have been kinder.
