Lovely hotel conveniently located close to the Old Town. Our room was really large and the hotel was well maintained and very clean and tidy. Breakfast was continually re-stocked and plentiful. We would definitely stay again.
Nothing - áll was good.

The location is fabulous and the staff were really kind. It was easily the best hotel gym I’ve ever seen. The room was great and as we were a family they wisely put us on an end of a hallway.
The breakfast is a bit expensive for adults but is very reasonably priced for kids. For nearly 30CHF I’d expect fresh cooked eggs and table service usually but it is a great spread and they keep it well stocked throughout the morning.

This is a modern hotel with a very high level of finish and attention to detail. Its location in relation to the old town is fantastic. We mainly walked around the town but with the pass from the hotel you can travel on public transport free. I used the pass to take the bus to the train station at the end of my stay. We didn't take the breakfast, but from what I saw it was a great selection, but there are numerous eating places all within a short walk. We used the onsite parking which was amazing and super secure. We went to one of the recommended restaurants (Zum Braunen Mutz) which was only 5 mins away and had a fantastic typical swiss evening meal.
The day we had in Basel was a Sunday and while we still walked around the town, most shops were closed.

The service was very skilled and committed
The renovation looked quite cheap!
