Location, breakfast buffet. Around the clock service. Top end hotel in Iquitos. Clean beddings, comfy private rooms with ensuite - the kind of rooms you will find in capital cities.

Noise from the bar lobby's music which was playing full on dance/pop music. Felt like a night club downstairs. The electrical sockets were unusable, the room that I got - none of them worked in this room. The electrical sockets are beyond old and needs replacing! Also with the private taxis - terrible terrible service. ~113 Soles. Rip off fare. Waited at the airport parking lot for 40 minutes from 10:30 pm (which was supposed to be my pickup time), the taxi sent by the hotel 'got into an accident?' that I later was told by the receptionist. So they could not pick me up. No attempt to message me whatsoever. I had to deal to the local taxi drivers at the airport late at night who was making me super uncomfortable. I called the hotel to asked what happened using my international roaming cell phone (around 10 Euros spent for two phone calls), they said they are sending a driver, but it took so long anyway. In the end I had to organize my own taxi who the driver told me he's in contact with the other taxi driver sent by the hotel. Arrived around 11:40 pm and still was charged 113 Soles by the hotel - for a small, old, taxi car, without AC, by a taxi that I organized myself at the parking lot alone in the dark. In the end I was offered a 'complimentary drink' - which I could not drink anyway because I am under an ayahuasca diet.
